Lange Animal Clinic offers medical and surgical veterinary services for exotic pets including: amphibians, chinchillas, ferrets, gerbils, quinea pigs, hamsters, hedgehogs, mice, pet birds, rabbits, rats, reptiles, sugar gliders, and other small mammals. However, we do not examine pet pigs, primates, venomous pets, or zoological animals.
Although thorough history and physical examinations are our best diagnostic tools, Lange Animal Clinic offers a range of diagnostic and treatment options for exotic pets, including: blood work, cytology, radiographs, and ultrasound. Dr. Kourtney Grimm is our primary veterinarian that specializes in treating exotic pets. She is a member of the Association of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians (ARAV) and has served on their development committee. Of course, it is our entire staff's primary objective to ensure your exotic pet has positive health and longevity. Most exotic pets have specific needs and are known for hiding early disease symptoms. We strongly encourage routine wellness exams and husbandry consultations to detect any early health concerns or to stop problems before they start.
